Meet Our Talented Instructors

Our instructors are a dedicated team of dance professionals with a wealth of experience. They are here to guide you on your dance journey, no matter your skill level.

Data Falghou

Owner/Artistic Director/Choreographer

Mrs. Data is the heart and foundation of the studio, dedicating her life to sharing her love of dance with generations of dancers. As the studio owner, she is committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow not only as dancers, but as confident individuals. Her passion for teaching, choreography, and mentorship has helped shape the studio into the special place it is today. With a strong belief in family, tradition, and excellence, Mrs. Data continues to inspire her students and faculty every day.

Payton Rivet

Assistant Director/Instructor/Choreographer

Payton was born and raised in Harvey, Louisiana. At the age of six, he began his dance training. After numerous years of teaching and competing, Payton moved to Kansas to pursue a higher education in dance. It was there he attended Wichita State University. In 2007, Payton received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (BFA) from WSU. 

While studying dance, he was the WSU adjunct hip-hop teacher. He was a member of the WSU Dance Team and later because the assistant coach. He was a member of the Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre (WCDT). Through WCDT, he toured nationally and internationally. He has worked with numerous up and coming artistic directors and their companies such as: Janice Garret and Dancers as well as dre.dance former by Andrew Palermo and Taye Diggs. With WCDT and dre.dance, Payton was cast as the soloist in dre.dance’s work entitled “beyond.words”, a piece on the awareness of autism. In May of 2008, Payton traveled to Taiwan to showcase beyond.words and other working titles.

To his credit, he toured as a Dance Caravan Kid back in ’96 and was a featured dancer in the 2004 hit movie, “Ray”. Payton has judged and choreographed for the National Dance Alliance (NDA) on the high school and collegiate level. In November of 2012, in conjunction with NDA, he traveled to Tokyo, Japan to teach and judge for Japan Cheer Dance Association (JCDA). He has taught for several dance studios, dance teams and competition teams locally and abroad. As a choreographer, his choreography has received numerous prestigious accolades over the years. Several pieces of his work has had the privilege qualifying either as Highest Winning Titles in the division, has been nominated into the Top 10, and or has won Overall Titles in the category. Also, he has taught for several local and national dance conventions such as VIP, NTG and Fire and Ice. 

Currently, Payton is the Assistant Artistic Director/Choreographer for Data’s Dance Dynamics. He serves as one of the Technique/Progression Coach/Choreographer for the De La Salle Cavalettes Dance Team as well as the Head Coach of the De La Salle Cavaliers Cheerleaders. Since his arrival back in the New Orleans area, Payton is excited to share his passion and knowledge for dance with others.

Taylor Trosclair

Competition Director/Principle Instructor/Choreographer

Ms. Taylor began her dance training at the age of 3 in New Orleans, Louisiana, studying ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and hip-hop. She was a four-year member and two-year officer of the Mount Carmel Academy Rhythm Dance Team before earning her teaching certification from Data’s Dance Dynamics in 2012. Ms. Taylor went on to graduate from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Dance. She began teaching at age 17 and has since taught and choreographed at multiple studios both locally and out of state. Ms. Taylor has choreographed numerous high-scoring, award-winning competition routines ranging from solos to full productions and currently teaches at different studios throughout the week. For the past several years, she has served as Competition Director for Data’s Dance Dynamics, overseeing curriculum, choreography, teachers, and the DDD Elite competition program. Her favorite teaching and choreography style is a fusion of jazz and hip-hop, combining strong technique and musicality with energy, individuality, and performance. While jazz is her favorite style to teach and hip-hop is her favorite style to perform, Taylor’s greatest passion is helping dancers grow in their technique, confidence, artistry, and love of dance.

Felicia Di Lapi

Competition Administrator/Instructor/Choreographer

Mrs. Felicia has been a member of the Data’s Dance Dynamics family since the age of two and has dedicated her life to dance as an educator, choreographer, mentor, and former competitive dancer. Growing up at Data’s, she trained in a variety of dance styles and competed as a young dancer, gaining experience and a deep understanding of the dedication, discipline, and commitment required to succeed on the competition stage.

After graduating in 2005, she began teaching at Data’s and has since choreographed numerous award-winning dances.  She currently serves as Competition Administrator and oversees the Junior Assistant and Teacher Graduate Programs, helping guide both competitive dancers and the studio’s next generation of teachers. She teaches multiple styles of dance and is passionate about developing strong, confident, and well-rounded performers.

Beyond Data’s, Mrs. Felicia serves as a technique coach and choreographer for the De La Salle Cavalettes and has choreographed productions for John L. Ory Magnet School. With decades of experience both on the stage and in the studio, she brings a unique perspective to her teaching and choreography, combining the experience of a former competitor with the knowledge and passion of an educator.

For Mrs. Felicia, dance has never simply been a career. It has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, a place where she grew up, found her passion, built lifelong relationships, and learned the importance of dedication and hard work. Today, she is proud to give back to the studio that has always been home since childhood and to help shape the next generation of dancers, teachers, and performers.

Dance is more than a career, it’s a lifelong passion, a family, and a legacy.

Denise Oustalet

Ballet Instructor/Choreographer

Mrs. Denise Oustalet is a native New Orleanian whose extraordinary career in dance spans decades as a professional dancer, choreographer, educator, and mentor. She began her early training with Leila Haller and Joseph Giacobbe before receiving scholarships to study at Harkness House School for Ballet Arts, Joffrey Ballet School, and American Ballet Theater School. She was also the recipient of the Louisiana State Arts Council Fellowship Award, which allowed her to continue her studies internationally.

Mrs. Denise’s professional career includes serving as a principal dancer with Delta Festival Ballet, Ballet Mistress for Santa Fe Opera, and performing with New Orleans Opera, Palm Beach Opera, and Dallas Ballet. Her extensive repertoire includes principal roles in classics such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Raymonda, and The Nutcracker, as well as contemporary roles including The Acid Queen in Tommy.

As a choreographer, Mrs. Denise has created work for Tulane Summer Lyric Theater, UNO Opera Theater, Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carré, and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. She served as the Architect and Director of Dance for NOCCA from 1976–2001, where her dedication to developing young artists made a lasting impact. She has also been recognized seven times as an “Outstanding Mentor” through the National Foundation for the Arts/Presidential Scholars program and received Gambit’s Big Easy Award for Best Choreographer in Musical Theatre.

Throughout her distinguished career, Mrs. Denise has served as a consultant for emerging performing and creative arts schools across the United States and Canada, directed the Ballet School for the 2000 Ballets Russes International Reunion, and served on both the Louisiana and Kentucky State Arts Councils.

Today, Mrs. Denise continues to share her knowledge, experience, and love of ballet as a highly respected master teacher and choreographer. She has taught at Regional Dance America Festivals and remains passionate about helping dancers develop strong technique, artistry, discipline, and a true appreciation for the art of ballet.

Mandy Strain

Instructor/Choreographer

Mrs. Mandy Strain is a dedicated dance educator, choreographer, and fitness instructor based in Mandeville, LA. Originally from Marrero, LA, Mrs. Mandy’s lifelong dance journey began in her local studio and progressed through high school, where she served as a two-year officer for the Archbishop Shaw Eaglettes Dance Team.

To elevate her training, Mrs. Mandy attended the University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (Performance and Choreography). During her time at USM, she performed and choreographed for the Repertory Dance Company (2005–2008), was a member of the Southern Misses Dance Team, and had her senior piece, “Elaso,” selected for the prestigious American College Dance Festival.

Since relocating to Mandeville in 2009, Mrs. Mandy has been an integral faculty member at Data’s Dance Dynamics. She specializes in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary, with additional expertise in Tap and Musical Theatre. Committed to technical excellence, she holds a Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) certification, allowing her to teach ballet mechanics through innovative, non-traditional methods.

While Mrs. Mandy has performed locally with New Orleans-based modern companies like Avatar Dance Company and 2B Tribe, choreography is her true passion. Her work has earned numerous accolades across the Southern Region, including Judge’s Choice, Best Choreography, and Overall awards.

Extending her love for movement into the fitness world, Mrs. Mandy has been a Certified Barre Teacher since 2011, offering diverse formats ranging from traditional and cardio-heavy to strength and stretch-focused sessions. She is also a Lagree Method Certified Instructor, teaching high-intensity, low-impact classes since 2025.

Mrs. Mandy resides in Mandeville with her husband, Sim, and their three children: Sim V, Brady Faye, and Paul. She loves balancing her life between the studio, the fitness room, and her busy family of five. She is deeply passionate about sharing the gift of dance with her students and guiding them through every stage of their growth.

Maycee Bourg

Instructor/Choreographer

Ms. Maycee has been part of the Data’s Dance Dynamics family since she was just two years old. With years of experience both on stage and in the studio, dance has always been an important part of her life. She now enjoys sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of dancers as a teacher and choreographer.

Throughout her teaching career, Ms. Maycee has had the opportunity to choreograph numerous award-winning dances, making choreography one of her favorite parts of being a part of the dance community. Her favorite style to teach is tap, while contemporary and hip hop hold a special place in her heart as her favorite styles to dance.

Ashley Llyod

Instructor/Choreographer

Mrs. Ashley has been dancing since she was 2 years old, participating in competitive dance and continuing her passion for dance at Southeastern Louisiana University as a Lionette.

After graduating from college in 2004, she began teaching young dancers and has been sharing her love of dance ever since. She has proudly been a member of the Data’s Dance Dynamics faculty for 13 years.

She absolutely loves teaching her babies and watching them learn, grow, gain confidence, and shine throughout the year!

Lauren Lowe

Instructor/Choreographer

Mrs. Lauren began her dance training at a young age in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she studied a variety of dance styles throughout her training. She continued her passion for dance while attending Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education. In 2008, Mrs. Lauren received her teacher graduate certificate from Data’s Dance Dynamics, where she further developed her passion for teaching and especially grew her love of tap. Lauren has been sharing her love of dance with students for many years, bringing her enthusiasm, patience, and love of teaching into every class. Her favorite style to teach is tap, where she enjoys helping dancers develop rhythm, musicality, coordination, and confidence. With her background in education, Mrs. Lauren strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where dancers can learn, grow, and develop a genuine love for dance. Dance has always been an important part of her life, and she is especially excited to now share that passion with her daughter, who is a member of the DDD Elite competition team.

Jessi Cook

Instructor/Choreographer

Jessi Cook has been dancing all her life and trained in classical ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, hip hop, and acrobatics. She grew up in the competition/convention scene and received numerous scholarships, faculty choice awards, and judges awards at these events, including the title of Miss Dance of Louisiana in 2017. She toured with the Streetz Dance convention and competition, assisting classes and working competition along with being a staff member. Mrs. Jessi is currently on the Saints Cheer Krewe in her fourth season in the black and gold, having performed halftime shows with artists like Manny Fresh, the Ying Yang twins, and HaSizzle.

Jessica Scheffer

Instructor/Choreographer

Ms. Jessica began her dance training at the age of two, studying tap and jazz under the guidance of her nanny, Lauren Gegenheimer. At age six, she expanded her training to include ballet under the direction of Reginald Denney. During high school, Jessica began performing in musicals at local theaters. After graduating from NOCCA in 1993, she continued to pursue her passion for dance and theater through training, teaching, and performing while majoring in Drama and Communication. In 1997, Ms. Jessica became the principal teacher at ...a time to dance, where she dedicated herself to developing and inspiring young dancers. During this time, she also continued performing with Tulane Summer Lyric, Rivertown Repertory Theatre, and in various commercials and industrial productions. Over the course of a decade, Ms. Jessica performed in more than 25 plays and operas, in addition to her commercial work. She eventually placed her theatrical career on hold to embrace a new and meaningful season as a wife and mother to her husband, Scott, and their three sons. After 40 years of serving the dance community, ...a time to dance closed its doors following its final season in 2022. One year later, as one chapter came to a close, another began when Mrs. Data invited Ms. Jessica to join the DDD staff. Ms. Jessica considers each season of her life and every opportunity she has been given a blessing. She gives all glory, honor, and praise to God for His faithfulness throughout her 48 years of training, teaching, performing, and serving others.

Kaylin Bush 

Instructor

Dance has always been a passion of Ms. Kaylin’s, and she loves sharing that passion with the next generation of dancers. A recent Teacher Graduate of Data’s Dance Dynamics, she has been teaching for over a year, with a strong focus on technique and helping dancers build a solid foundation.

Ms. Kaylin was also a member of the DDD Elite Competition Team for over 10 years, giving her extensive experience as both a student and performer. She is passionate about helping dancers develop confidence, strength, and a genuine love for movement.

Her goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where every dancer feels comfortable challenging themselves, growing, and becoming the best dancer they can be.

Gevohni Falghou

Tumbling Coach

Coach Gevohni brings a wealth of experience in cheerleading, stunting, and tumbling to Data’s Dance Dynamics. His athletic background includes three seasons as a member of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe, two years as an All-Star cheerleader with LA Spirit, and five years of cheerleading at De La Salle High School.

With years of experience both performing and coaching, Coach Gevohni has developed a passion for helping athletes build confidence, strength, flexibility, and proper technique. He currently coaches cheer, stunt, and tumbling at LTCA and Data’s Dance Dynamics, where he enjoys working with athletes of all skill levels and helping them reach their full potential.

Coach Gevohni’s goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and proud of their progress. He is excited to share his knowledge, experience, and love of the sport with the next generation of athletes at Data’s Dance Dynamics.

Guy Jaxon

Tumbling Coach

With over a decade of experience in performance and coaching, Coach Guys is a dedicated gymnastics and tumbling coach passionate about empowering young athletes. From 2011 to 2013, Coach Guy performed with the Hornets Entertainment team, followed by a nine month European tour through Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. In 2016, he served as a mascot for the LA Clippers before returning home in 2021 to coach at Morris Jeff Elementary. Since 2024, Coach Guy has been a full-time tumbling coach at Louisiana Tumbling and Cheer and now Data's Dance Dynamics. His mission is to help every student master technique and build confidence, ensuring they achieve their personal goals in cheer, dance, and beyond.

Jodie Greco

Office Manager

Mrs. Jodie was raised on the Westbank, where her love for dance began and grew into a lifelong journey. From an early age, dance became became a passion that would shape many of the most meaningful chapters of her life.

Her dedication to the art led her to receive her Dance Teachers’ Certificate from the respected Mr. Bob Bernissant. With her training and certification, Jodie continued to grow as a dancer and educator, eventually becoming part of Mrs. Data’s faculty. For several years, she had the privilege of teaching and mentoring dancers, sharing not only her knowledge and experience, but also the discipline, confidence, and love of dance that had been instilled in her throughout her own journey.

As life evolved, Jodie embraced another special role in the dance world — becoming a dance mom. This experience allowed her to see dance from an entirely different perspective. She understood the dedication, commitment, sacrifices, excitement, and pride that come with supporting a dancer both inside and outside the studio.

Jodie’s longtime friendship with Mrs. Data would eventually lead her into yet another chapter. Through that friendship and trust they had built over the years, Jodie was given the opportunity to become Mrs. Data’s Office Manager. Although she had stepped away from teaching and eventually hung up her own dance shoes, she never truly left the world of dance.

Today, Mrs. Jodie sits on the other side of the desk, bringing together everything she has learned as a dancer, teacher, dance mom, and friend. She is an important part of the heartbeat of the studio, helping keep things organized while continuing to support the dancers, families, and teachers she has come to love.

From a young girl raised on the Westbank with a love for dance, to a certified dance teacher, faculty member, dance mom, and now Office Manager.  She may have hung up her shoes, but dance will always be a part of her. Her journey simply took her to the other side of the desk — where she continues to make a difference, one dancer and one family at a time.
